Great Adirondack has bundled 8 skeins of different textures and fibers, all dyed in the same colorway, each one more beautiful than the next. No walking all over the store trying to mix and match, all you have to do is decide what project to use them for. They make an incredible Dancing Crayons poncho or Crayon Box jacket, both Chris Bylsma designs. (Speaking of Chris, be sure to stop by and see her trunk show designs displayed at the shop until January 27th.)
The colors used in these bundles are breathtaking and right now we have a great selection.
The UPS man came today and and brought us lots of Lamb's Pride, perfect for your next felting project. (12 skeins of bulky black, which is always in high demand.) Also delivered were a few things new to the shop. More on them in future posts.
Late Winter and early Spring classes are getting into full swing this week. A couple of new things are the Healing Journey = learning to use knitting as a personal therapy tool, and Knitting for Peace - Make the world a better place, one stitch at a time. See the class schedule for more specific information. If you have seen a class on the schedule that interests you, give us a call so we can reserve you a space. Many classes fill up quickly. If there is something you'd like to see a class offered for, please let us know. We always appreciate your input!
Very cool site...I am so happy and very grateful to have such a talented and creative associate, as you, in the shop!
Keep up the fabulous energy!
You go girl!

Cold Water Bundles...what a brilliant idea! I don't know how many times I've been picking out yarn and wanted to use more than one type and wrestled between matching and complimenting colors/textures. Although I have some other projects in queue, I'll have to eye these AGAIN to pick out and buy my top favs so I can start on them in the near future.
Re: Lamb's Pride, I have a special spot in my heart for this VERY versatile and high-quality yarn. I finishing-up a beautiful, warm cape = I'm on its edging now...almost done (using the Jaded Dreams color). Also, I have about 13 hanks of the Burly Spun in Limeade, but don't know what I'm going to make with that yet. I just know I LOVE this brand of yarn. It's not scratchy, and I believe the colors are always easy on the eyes.
Lastly, but certainly not least, THE CLASSES! Yes, the class schedule is out and on the street. So, if the readers of this Blog (and this includes YOU, since you're reading this right now) would love to learn to Crochet...I'd love to teach YOU! Please, sign up for the Crochet classes.
