Knitting a felted bag is a fun project for the beginner and advanced knitter alike. They are fun, functional, and offer the knitter a chance to really have a great time with color combinations and yarn choices. (You must use fiber with at least a 70% wool content for successful felting.) The shop has just received a shipment of new felted bag patterns from a company called Noni. The bags come in number of styles and sizes and are embellished with glorious felted flowers. These finished bags are just gorgeous and make a big style impact.
We also just got back in stock the patterns for the felted wine bottle holder and small bowls. These knit up fast and make great hostess gifts. Spring is just around the corner (really, it is!) and we have patterns for adorable felted Easter baskets. The Cascade 220 has some particularly lovely spring colors that would work up well.
Commercial news! The new commercial is now airing several times a week during Oprah on WIFR. Check your local listings for the correct channel in your area. Thanks again to all who came to lend their smiling faces on the day of the shoot.
OK, good question here = does Noni have crochet patterns of the same items? If not, I'll have to write one. No kidding. Very pretty pics, but I'm sure they are simple to make. :)
I hope to catch the commercial some time. It'll be the first commercal on a yarn store that I know of.
Wanted: Crocheters! Oh, a side note, "Project Crochet" will be starting this Saturday morning, and it's the final session for Fancy Filet Beaded Crochet Scarf in that afternoon's class. :D
I need a vacation with ONLY Crocheting,

I'm really enjoying your blog... you should send these in to make a column for the local paper, it would be great!
