Winter hasn't gone down without a fight this year, but each day brings us closer to bird song, blooming flowers, and EASTER! April 8th is the day we can expect the Easter Bunny to be delivering baskets of goodies. Wouldn't it be fun to knit one of these adorable baskets for someone in your life? My kids are in their twenties, but I'm still going to knit them each a basket using this fast and easy pattern. We've prepared a grouping of fiber suggestions, but combinations of wool and novelty yarns are endless. Come in and let us help you make the Easter surprise especially wonderful this year.
come on Holly, I am not giving up on Winter yet. I am still waiting for that big blizzard. Snow pelting against the outside of the window where all the tropical trees are, while we sit in the warm comfy chairs knitting away as the snow piles higher. All we need is a TV so we can pop in The Secret. Heavenly!

Easter = NO MORE SNOW! Hurray!
I've been waiting to wear some of my almost +100 garments that I've either already made or have been making, so if it doesn't stop snowing I can't wear the spring/summer items.
The baskets are REALLY cute. I have a lot of crochet basket and bowl patterns. Felting them would be an awesome touch. ;)
OK, with that, MUST get back to my Hairpin Lace project...HAPPY YARN WORKS to everyone! lol :D

Hey, what's this I hear about Free Movie Friday? Are we really playing The Secret? I saw a flyer in Edgebrook that said I could check this blog for more info on that :-)
